A young man named Mohammad Ali Munna (32) lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a bridge in Dhamairhat, Naogaon.
The accident took place on Saturday (July 31) when the Dhamairhat-Joypurhat regional highway collided with the Dhamairhat Ghuksi Bridge. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali, son of late Yunus Ali of Hatnagar area of the upazila.
According to family sources, Mohammad Ali used to work for a private company in Dhaka. Due to his job, his wife and child sometimes lived in Chakmahesh village of Bari upazila. Mohammad Ali went to visit his brother-in-law’s house last Friday to bid farewell to his wife and children after Eid holidays. The next day at 10 am, Schalke was on his way home to Hatnagar on a motorcycle when he collided with the bridge and was seriously injured. He was later rescued by locals and taken to the Upazila Health Complex where he was shifted to Rajshahi Medical Hospital for better treatment. He later died while undergoing treatment there.
